I agree completely with the decision to make her "no one"
a mythology is less interesting if its heroes all come from nobility

I don't get why people didn't like this. If it turned out she were a Skywalker or a Solo people would complain that it's cliche or trite.
It's nice having just a normal person be important.
Edit: Since I'm at the top for some reason I just wanna say Star Trek > Star Wars.
