A friend of mine work at a storage place for a webshop, when he needs to ship goods he will use a special cardboard shredder they have that do this, since in the end they end up with a clusterfuck of cardboard boxes, and so its way cheaper than buying in bubble wrap and paying for tossing the garbage.
