I have a student who is very outward like that as well.
They were asking about their new seating charts at lunch and one said, "don't put me with so-and-so."
At that time, the outward student walks in and asks who we're talking about. They say "so-and-so" and she replies, "oh you mean slow so-and-so!" I literally looked at her with my mouth gaping. She said, "so what? It's the truth."
I had to have a talk with her about being respectful and knowing that how you say things can be very hurtful.

Sounds like one of those kids who is going to excel in a mediocre school but have a massive ego pounding a university and end up average in life
