I once had a neighbor put no trespassing signs facing my yard because I accidentally had been mowing, seeding, and fertilizing a little bit over the property line. If somebody did that to my yard I’d say thanks.

Edit for more info:

So for clarity, and I hope others see this too, the property line was at a strange angle and didn’t go straight between the two driveways. For about 4 years we mowed straight between the two which meant they mowed a couple feet into my property and I mowed a couple feet into theirs. Nobody knew or cared. Then the woman living there divorced her husband and new guy moved in. I kept on doing what we have always done and he lost his shit over it. All he had to do is talk to me and it wouldn’t have been a problem.

It also turns out while I was accidentally taking care of part of his lawn part of his driveway was on my property. So since he insisted on being a dick about a 20ft x 2 ft strip in the back of the property I insisted on being a dick and mowing over the flowers they planted by the driveway. He should be grateful I didn’t make him take part of his driveway up.

He eventually swung a shovel at me and had the cops called on him. I moved and now rent out that house. The amazing thing is that this is in a nice neighborhood. Goes to show crazy is everywhere.

Edit #2: Amazed this story has resonated with so many people.

I wouldn’t put this on my lawn. .. but debated putting up a sign so my neighbours would stop calling the city on me and selling drugs directly outside my house.

The neighbor doesn’t like my cat so he continues to call the city on me making false claims against me and the city bylaw officers come and search my yard.

Another neighbor sells drugs directly outside of my house, i assume it’s so his users don’t know where he lives.

I could see why someone would get mad enough to put up a shitty sign.

Someone in my street had a complaint against him because a neighbour didn't like the fact he had a crashed car in his drive. The guy has been in an accident and was waiting for parts to arrive so he could fix the car himself. A neighbour complained after a week and tried to have the car towed.

After that this sign becomes totally relatable.
