Pretty (love the exposed brick and flagstones) but give the staircase two damn handrails. Its too easy to catch yourself on the lip of a step and go over the edge.
Honestly I don't see anything appealing about sitting in that chair. Lot's of space behind you, a staircase above your head. Not a place for a long read and a glass of wine.

It's beautiful, but it doesn't look very safe, does it? Can you imagine trying to get up there after a night of drinking?
