This kid is going places until he grows up and realizes that he’s not the smart kid anymore and has never developed a talent. The gloomy outlook which is a trait of the depression keeps him from connecting deeply with people. Isolated, he is just smart enough to know his life is shit but lacks the ability to change it. Remember kids, what doesn’t kill you just gives you trauma.
