Are American possums a lot more timid than Australian ones? Everyone's saying "oh they're gentle" but my face was like the poor cats... possums down under will fuck you up
Fun story, back in the early 90s I lived with a bunch of roommates in a house, they had cats. We would leave the back door open on hot nights to get a breeze.
A bunch of us were sitting on the couch watching t.v., in the kitchen (where the backdoor was) we could hear crunching of kibble. Roommate turns to me and says, "what's eating in the kitchen?, all the cats are here!"
We all go to the kitchen and see a possum going to town on the cat food. He noticed us, finished chewing and walked back out the door.
