My mom hated the phrase "I'm bored," with a passion. Her response was always "I can find something for you to do" basic chores and such. My sister and I very quickly learned not to say I'm bored at all.
My little cousins on the other hand, we got a lot of cheep labor out of them.

There were a few things I said because I'd read them in Calvin and Hobbes. Most of them didn't go well.
But the wagon riding did; that was a lot of fun.
