I nearly deleted my late grandmother’s texts by turning on the delete texts from over a year ago . I sent a message to her phone to make sure they wouldn’t be deleted, and the person who got her phone number replied.

Very nice and what a warm caring response. Sure as heck beats, “ New phone, who dis?”

This is great but I'm also really impressed how much backstory and context you were able to include in the title elegantly.

I am 64 now and I have a beautiful granddaughter aged two who lives in Nashville TN and I live in the UK. My wife and I visit every year and chat to her daily. I am beginning to feel my mortality and I miss her every day and the thought that one day I will die and I will not her her and my children tears me apart. I hope that they still text me when I die , I must remember to take my phone charger.
