Terry Crews Agrees to Take Mental Health Exam in Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Terry Crews has agreed to take a mental health exam in connection with his sexual assault lawsuit against an agent he claims groped him at a party.

Lawyers for WME agent Adam Venit filed a stipulation in Crews' civil lawsuit. The stipulation says the exam will take 7 hours and it names a doctor who was mutually agreed upon.

According to the docs, the exam will include a "comprehensive psycho-social and medical history and the administration of mental status testing and psychological testing."

Crews claims Venit grabbed his genitals during a party. He's also filed a criminal complaint against Venit and it is currently under investigation.

The defending attorneys are looking for mud they can sling in court to make Mr. Crews look like he wanted to be groped or made it up for some reason. There is no human being without some issues in their life, some dark corners, some pain, some past. Whatever issues are found, no matter what they are, will be slung against Mr. Crews in court in an attempt at character assassination. This is the disgusting side of the courtroom. I admire Mr. Crew's bravery and honesty. I hope he is up for the shit slinging to come.

You would think by now, Venit would just figure out that Terry is not going to go away and not give up. The man is practically the definition of determination. His picture might actually show up as one of the listings in the dictionary.

Can someone explain the significance of him agreeing to this test? The article really just kinda said that it was happening.
