This was one of those hikes at the end of an already long day of hiking, and we kept saying that we'll go back after just getting around the next bend or just over the next hill. We kept going like this for several km in an effort to reach the top. Hailstorm finally forced us to turn back. Still worth it though.

There are some incredible walks and assisted climbs in there that mean mortals can explore the Dolomites.
