Yay vomit, so glad they came back up! A couple times a year, my vet has to surgically remove hair ties from kitties with GI obstructions. Obstructions are painful, co$tly and scary. Pls keep hair ties out of kitty reach or switch to different type-- The grippy elastic circle ones are easy to carry in the mouth but cats can't really spit them & the barbed cat tongue makes it easy to swallow.

Glad he got them up! As many in this thread have suggested, a vet visit may not be a bad idea, just in case he swallowed 10, and only got 9 up. Monitor for signs of distress: lethargy, loss of appetite, infrequent/no defecation, puking/dry heaving, squinting eyes from abdominal pain (cats will also purr to mask pain), hunched positions, etc. The veterinarian can do an ultrasound and/or an X-ray and get a fairly good idea as to what’s going on in that GI tract.

I just had to go through this with my lil girl and the total cost was $4,100. All because of sewing thread and dental floss. Better to be precautionary with your pets, than to pay the price of anxiety and dead Presidents later.

Best of luck, also your kitty is adorable! :)
