Violet was an easter present to a young child who lost interest. She was kept in tiny wire cage in their basement and forgotten about. Now she lives cage-free and sleeps in bed with me every night.

She’s really cute!

Serious question, how do you deal with the poop around the house/bed if she lives cage free?

Thanks!

Why do parents allow this sort of thing. It is their job to raise responsible citizens and caring for a living creature is extremely rewarding and makes them better adults. Some people just suck. Your rabbit is beautiful!

I only tell this story because I grew up with an amazing cage free bunny.

I was maybe 8, and lying on the floor, watching TV and eating trail mix.

I dropped a bit, and - eyes glued to the tv - picked it up off the floor and ate it. To this day, I am convinced that I actually picked up and ate a rabbit poop.

Basically one bite filled my mouth with the most intense taste of the smell of barnyard hay ever.

I can't say for sure, but for 20+ years, I've been convinced.

I miss that little bugger.

On-topic, your little fluff looks amazing! Love the side flop.
