Yep, it counts all the way through, perpetually. "What about February?"... I know. You could potentially make a really thick one of these with 365/2 tiles so that every month has its perfect amount of tiles, but then "what about leap years?" is a valid question. At this point, February is a short month and you get bonus flips, easy enough. This is just a proof of concept after all, there really ought to be a way to keep track of what month it is too. In fact, the manufactured souvenir ones do. If you're lucky enough to have a 3D printer, you can even print one of these that is pretty slick looking AND has a month tracker: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1785261

(Sitting at desk, loops up)

Hmm....did I flip that thing yet today? Should I flip it? Wish I knew what day it was.

Does anyone else skip reading the (probably informative) text and just drool over the gifs?

This originally started as a proof-of-concept project just to figure out how the mechanism worked, hence the lack of a way to track the day of the week and month. I think it works as is though, pretty minimalist looking and it works very reliably.

"What about February?"... With this mechanism there's no simple way to skip tiles. You just get bonus flips that month.

"30/31? Ugh"... I agree. See the comments in the imgur album for why I decided to accept that horological faux pas.
