My favorite one of these photos is a pub that had the wall bombed out, the barkeep inside just sweeping, with a sign that just says “more open than usual”
It's these types of pictures/people I keep in my head for when someone cuts me off on the road, the basement floods, it's time to pay the bills, etc. I'm reminded that the obstacles in my life are so tiny compared to a lot of other people around the world. If they can get married with a smile and a bombed house, I'd be an ungrateful ass if I let my day be ruined by a texting stranger cutting me off on the road.
