My Godfather said taking pictures of penguins in Antarctica was just like this. First time he saw them, he kept creeping forward for the picture. Unaware behind him, a curios penguin kept creeping forward to get a better look at what he was doing. Until the penguin was leaning over his shoulder checking out the pictures and he learned you could just walk up to them.
