The captions on these photos are wrong.
The dog was in a fire when he was 3 weeks old.
He was severely burned (75% of his body) and required a regimen of morphine and daily therapeutic baths.
His family gave him up for adoption because they couldn’t afford his medical bills.
The fireman adopted him.
He is approximately 1 year old in the photos.
