I found this spot by accident a few years back, and make it a point to visit anytime I am out in Yosemite. This photo is from last weekend during a clear/dry night which made the conditions perfect for stargazing. Since the water in the Merced River is so low (with hardly any movement), there was an incredible reflection. The camera picks up more light than the naked eye, but I could see the stars just fine and the reflection without the camera.
Technical details:
ISO 4000 (which is why it is a bit noisy when you zoom in) f/2.8 30 sec Rokinon 24mm 1.4 lens (which is awesome for night shots)
