Wow! I painted a picture of this hotel back in high school (~15 years ago) and never knew anything about it, just a random photo in a big book of fancy buildings we had to pick from. Forgot all about it until seeing this picture.
When I see spaces like this I have to remind myself. This is a product of humans. Not some machine, not a computer, but hands and people doing there thing and doing so well it’s photographed. People are amazing. For every time we see horror we need to remember the same animal also dose this. Hairless monkeys we all are, and we can build like a mother. Thank you OP this is stunning.

I stayed at the Danieli in September last year. The lobby was breathtaking. The view from the restaurant was just as good.
