I keep having to talk myself out of thinking the end of Game of Thrones is going to be a great thing. While it may be cinematically great, most of these characters we've fallen in love with are gonna die and leave us feeling terrible after it ends lol

That would be cool.
In hindsight, the producers could have made this a gradual shift toward the lower colouring.
Start off with the original then slowly shift toward the wintery colour scheme. Would really give us a picture of the gradual decline of summer!
