Season 4 of Netflix’s “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” will premiere in two halves.

The first six episodes of the Ellie Kemper sitcom are set to launch together on May 30, 2018. The second half will follow later in the year with another release of episodes. “Kimmy” also stars Jane Krakowski, Tituss Burgess and Carol Kane.

Netflix usually posts all episodes of a new season at the same time, allowing for a subscriber to determine consumption.

No, Netflix. I want Titus all at once. I dont want you to ration him out in parts.

Weird, I wonder if they're doing this as a strategy like they've done with some other shows like Fuller House or if it's an issue with production.

It's especially odd because May 30th is right before the cutoff for the Emmys... wonder if that presents some issues with qualification as Kimmy usually gets a bunch of noms.
