My first year of public school was 6th grade due to my parents being a little on the nutty side of religion. One day I found a valentine card on my desk. I was super shy so I nabbed it from my desk and went to the bathroom to read it. It was a Garfield valentine from a girl named Sarah and I was super happy and excited about it and thought she must have a crush on me.
A while after class started I realized all the desks had a card from her on it and some of the kids had stacks of cards from different people. I didn't know that kids just passed them out to everyone. The only card I got was from Sarah and it made me sad and happy on so many different levels that it sticks out in my memory to this day.

Reminds me of a guy I knew, he introduced me to this girl: "This is my girl! And this is her boyfriend..."
