Reminds me when I was a kid, I had a cat I named "Kitten" (yeah, I was creative as hell).
First night, she slept in the hallway.
Second night, she slept at the foot of my bed.
Third night, she got under my covers and slept right next to me by my hip.
After that, she would ONLY let ME carry her, and I carried her like a baby (I was about 10 years old). She wouldn't let my mom or her boyfriend or my brother carry her, only me.
She was an outdoor cat and she was vicious. I watched her scale a tree in 2 seconds and pluck a bird off a branch, then brought it inside and put it on my bed. Thanks....
There was another black cat that our neighbor owned that was always trying to get frisky with her. I watched him sniff her butt once and she stood up on her hind legs and slapped that mofo right in the face. Hilarious.
Died of feline leukemia, saddest day of my childhood.
