What, so if you're older than the company you can't have an account? Rude

The year is 1889. All playing cards were referred to as "nintendos"

Somewhere around 2001, I was working for a music store and rented a French horn to a guy who was 111 years old.

He walked in on his own, did all the paperwork with me, we had to order the horn, then left. He said he used to play professionally back in the 20’s and 30’s and wanted to get back into it!

Anyways, we had to run a credit on people renting a French horn, cause they’re so expensive, and I ask for the guy’s driver’s license. I’m writing down his info and my eyes bug out of my head when i get to his birthday...it’s like 1892 or something.

So, I call the credit check phone line people, and give them the info. They ask for the birthday and I tell them. They’re like, “really?” I’m like, “dude I’m literally looking at his ACTIVE driver’s license.”

Turns out, their computer system wouldn’t even allow you to enter 18__ as a birthdate. It was hard coded for 19__ and they could only enter the two digits. Don’t know what they did, but they approved it and the guy got his French horn.
