I remember about 15 years ago reading about an RV owner in Australia who came out in the morning and found a garden hose going into his brownwater tank with a spray of vomit beside it.
Lpt: starting a siphon? Choose a hose gauge such that the diameter of the hose is thin enough that water won't drain out if held in by vacuum (think of when you stick your finger on the end of a straw and pull it out of a cup). Around 6 mm usually works. Fill the hose with water, plug one end with your finger, and insert the hose into the fuel tank. Then uncover the end. The siphon will start itself. Squirt the water onto the ground until fuel comes out. Then collect the fuel in a container. No need to get gas in your mouth.
