Here's a fun technical question about interrupts and keyboards I hope somebody answers:
Let's say a Linux system ran out of RAM and is swapping a lot of data off. Of course it takes a long time, so the system freezes until RAM gains some breathing room (it always freezes for me, at least).
During that freeze the only thing I can do is yank the power, nothing else works. But if I had a PS/2 keyboard, would that change anything? I tried entering the SysRq commands with a USB keyboard, they did nothing. Do they act differently over PS/2?
