This was my favorite trip from the summer of 2017; a backpacking trip up to the Canyon Creek meadows beneath Three Fingered Jack. The morning after this picture was taken, dense smoke had filled the meadows and the mountain was nearly obscured by the thick smoke. It stayed pretty smoky the remainder of the summer, so I felt pretty lucky to have gone up there when I did.

I always see this mountain from the highway but have never seen it from this close. Thanks for posting and giving me a new perspective!!
