America is an amazing place to be rich. That's why I never bought the "Oh the rich will just move to some tiny tax haven country". If my choice is to pay a bit more of my billions to have a massive house in the hills above LA filled with starlets and a penthouse overlooking NYC filled with crazy artist chicks for my other weekends I'm going to go ahead and give living in the Caymans a pass. And that's ignoring Miami entirely. This is a fabulous pace to be loaded.

I know a lady who emigrated from Venezuela 20 years ago. One of her reasons for doing so was that she had heard about the U.S. project to change the direction of hurricanes and she just thought that was so awesome that we would even try to do such a thing and was evidence of a strong "empire" (her word, but she used it in a very positive way). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Stormfury
