crazy story, my dad works at a private high school which my sister also attended. Every year they have a silent auction as a fundraiser and one particular year the main item was a brand new mini-cooper that had been donated by a student's parent who owned a car dealership. My sister's friend was a first generation American who's parents had immigrated from India. Her father, although very wealthy, had a somewhat tenuous grasp on the English language. Of course at this auction they weren't gonna drive the car inside so instead they got a model car which they placed on the table. This Indian man severely misunderstood the scenario and figured the absurd price for this model car was set so that anyone who bid on it would essentially be donating the money to the school. Long story short he ended up buying a real car on accident when he thought he was buying a model car. That said I'm doubtful the guy who bought this range rover did it on accident. Edit: hey if I could get one more person to correct my grammar that would be nice
