My wife and I saw a bald eagle tear into a flock of about 2,000 seagulls on Whidbey Island. It nailed one, and flew by us up the beach about 1/2 mile to another eagle, presumably a mate.
I've seen a murder of crows attack a red tail hawk for killing a fellow crow. The crows feathers falling on me while I played fetch with my dog is what caught my attention . The dead crow was still in the hawks clutches .
