Supposedly 64% of Americans have never left the USA.
It can be hard to know what life is like elsewhere when you are only being fed it through a TV lens.

Edit: Apparently a goodhearted post ends up torn apart. I guess it is the internet after all. The root of my comment still exists. I am not saying only middle-class, white families who can afford to travel are more open-minded and that you need the money in order to do that. The basis of my comment is that as a majority of people who only see the outside world through media, they might not realize the actual issues P.R. had and is still having because quite frankly, its rarely talked about anymore.

Ever since a friend pointed out that businesses overwhelmingly use women when depicting a victim (of anything), I've been seeing it everywhere.
