As a 33 year old who lost his house, dog, PS4, lived in a car for a minute, I mean more or less fucked up and had a mid life crisis, these kinds of gestures typically bring us to tears in private. I know all I want sometimes is someone to give me a hug, despite the fact I’m a middle aged man. I’m not too proud to admit it’s really cold out there when you’re alone.
Anyone else feeling that way, you actually aren’t alone- people like me have been and are going through it too. You aren’t special or worthless and what you’re feeling is completely normal. Do your best to keep your chin up even when that head of yours weighs a hundred tons. You’re just in-between right now. It can’t last forever. And for what is worth, I care and want you here.
