My ex and I went to do the divorce filing and the clerk told me I had to serve her the paperwork. We were literally both standing there, so I asked the clerk to serve her, the clerk said she legally couldn't.
I then remembered the hot dog cart guy in the parking lot, I got so f-ing excited. We walked out there, I asked him to serve her, he agreed as long as I bought a hot dog. It was the best $4 I ever spent. I ate the best hot dog while I watched my ex get served with well deserved divorce papers.
Edit: "serving" seems to be pretty foreign for some people. It's a normal part of the American legal system. Pineapple Express is a great example of why it happens, notice as he's serving everyone, they are seriously pissed. The first lady refused to show up at her three prior court dates.
