That's a nice idea ... but anyone else is not impressed by how easily they're getting away of a massive scale fraud by basically turning a scandal into what amount to a marketing campaign?
I mean, I see coupons every day, they just decided to give a year worth of coupons one shot and now we good .. that's it?
Wouldn't donating $25 in cash to a food bank go further? Everyone always says they can get way more buying with cash due to wholesale and bulk deals than they could by food donations and gift cards.

Your math is wrong because not every Canadian is eligible. The company expects three million to six million people will receive the gift card.
