My sister came home from college and grabbed several siblings, including 9 year-old me, and drove us in her Ford Pinto to see this movie. Didnt even tell us the name of the movie, just herded us into the theater.

I saw it at my local theater (in Dallas) about a week later. The crowds were still huge every single night, from word-of-mouth feedback.
