For those wondering: this is neither the pope nor Santa Claus, but Sinterklaas, the Dutch version of Santa Claus.
Fun fact: Santa Claus is actually partially based on Sinterklaas
Fun fact 2: instead of elves, Sinterklaas has black people, a tradition that has only begun to change in recent years
