To all the people mentioning that Ron Swanson would be against a government enforcing regulations like Net Neutrality, please remember he'd hate monopolies that indulge in anti-competitive practices. The reason we need net neutrality is because of the monopolistic and anti-competitive nature of ISPs in this country.
It's important to note that he's saying nothing about the specifics of NN here, and everything about Pai's actions. A government official ignoring the public's desires is the problem. This is an accurate representation of Ron's values.
Edit: the focus here is on "honor" as Offerman points out. It is the top of the pyramid and the number 1rule to follow. Regardless of the specifics of NN or even Ron's Libertarian stance what Pai did was dishonorable. Ignoring the public, laughing at the opposition, and personally profiting from your own government ruling is dishonorable. Pai was a Jeremy Jamm. If ya'll don't think Ron would be more anti-Jamm than anti-regulation, you didn't understand the character at all.
