Could you tell us how easy it was to get to that location? Ex did you have to hike up? Could you get around there by public transport?

So my girlfriend and I (both Canadians living in Shanghai) decided to escape the cold (and bad air) and head south over Christmas last year. We chose Guangxi as we'd both never been, and it's usually fairly mild in the winter.

Of course when we get there, they're having an unseasonable cold spell which meant temperatures hovering around freezing and rainy the whole week! Of course, once we started exploring, we totally forgot about the weather and had a great time.

Here's a photo to show you more of the geography, that I took the day before this one on the Li river.
