For real though, given some of these similarities, I legit always thought The Force Awakens would have been objectively better if the First Order had just been using the Star Forge, rather than Starkiller base. It would make sense in the narrative; just have the FO use it to build a fleet quickly to take on the Republic, rather than blowing shit up. That way, we avoid having them build ANOTHER Death Star, which I still think is the worst decision they made when writing TFA. Also, it would set up why the FO is a threat in Ep. VII and IX: they suddenly have a large army the Republic wasn't prepared for.
