Amazing! I also have a grandfather going through dementia. It is hard to see there memory fading but you can always find a way to still be proud of him
I sure love to talk to my husband's grandpa, who has Alzheimer's. People try to "relieve" me from grandpa duty. I don't have a desire to stop the talks. I have learned that the best thing to do is simply ask them questions. I just keep going on and he chats with me. Nothing is more special than hearing old folks talk about their life experiences!
