Today one of the junior devs took on a bug, while I took on a different one a little later. Turns out, we were chasing the same underlying bug and we were done about the same time.
Though my solution was slightly more robust he found the right solution to a tricky bug very quickly.
It made my day to tell him how well he'd done (and to send an email to our boss so she has it for his next review).

Junior dev: I fixed the bug, maybe now it'll work!
Senior dev: I fixed the bug, maybe now I'll get a different error message!
