This happened once, literally the second I was finished absorbing a dragon soul...
The big WHOOOAAAASSSHHH animation and all, and then it immediately turns around to some jackass telling me to give up my coin, or else.

Maybe they just assumed he’s some rich yuppy with nice gear but no ability? Like what are the odds of encountering an actual mage or dragonborn?
