This is Texas Senator John Cornyn. He sold me, my fellow Texans, and this nation to the telecom lobby for the price of $148,800

Telecoms have Cornyn and Ted Cruz in their pocket. These Republican chucklefucks are anti-consumer and so very happy to shit on us if it meant freedom and liberty for telecoms to find new ways to fuck us in the ass business models and free market innovations.

Innovation is Gates et al making a personal computer, or Ford designing assembly lines, or Netflix streaming, or Amazon online store model.

Taking something that already exists and isn't broke, and then breaking apart into slow and small pieces to be sold piecemeal is not innovation. It's a fucking planned obsolescence scam. It's taking a U.S. interstate highway, making it all toll lanes and forcing different speed limits for each lane. That's the bare minimum amount of fuckery about to happen. Service groups and other online busineses coalesce to make "channels" that can all be on a good lane. And it just devolves and devolves until real innovation is stifled and statrups need to appeal to telecom execs like an independent film script attempting to break the cycle of the summer repeat blockbuster. It. Will. Be. Hell.

Y'all Beto get your asses out to vote in 2018, O'Rourke at the mess if you snooze for Cruz.

Volunteer if you give a shit about Net Neutrality.

Edit: oh, and FUCK TED CRUZ. He hates net neutrality more than Cornyn. Ted Cruz Says Net Neutrality Is 'Obamacare For The Internet'

Edit 2: Thanks for the gold🏅! I'll be paying it forward to the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Beto O'Rourke's campaign for Senator

American politicians don't fear Americans, they don't even respect you. They fully expect you to just bend over and take it. Hopefully this leads to more than just grumbling online.
