A couple years ago, I was hanging out with my brother-in-law, who is quite a bit older than me. (He's my dad's age.) We talked about everything from football to politics to music, we drank some scotch, we smoked some cigars. Then he said "I'm glad we're brothers."
I'm an only child. I always wanted a brother. I've never worked so hard to not cry. He's a cool motherfucker, and I'm glad to be his brother too.
