Apparently text messages are written in stone and can't be altered after you notice a mistake. It must have been so embarrassing to see he'd written "thanks gorgeous" and know the only course of action was to explain he meant it for someone else. If only there were some kind of backspace option!

He was so close to this actually being a thoughtful gesture and a normal interaction.
