These 5 people will vote on whether Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, and Time Warner Cable can control which websites you visit

On December 14 (less than one month from now), the 5 commissioners of the FCC will vote on whether to end Net Neutrality in America.

The proposal would give your internet service provider (Comcast, AT&T, Time Warner Cable, Cox, Verizon, etc) complete control over what websites you can visit, what apps you can use, and what videogames you can play online.

As it stands, 3 of the 5 commissioners have stated their intent to vote for ending Net Neutrality, while only 2 support preserving it.

The decision is in the hands of these 5 people:

“People can and do live without Internet access, and many lead very successful lives” -Michael O’Rielly

GET. FUCKED. ASSHOLE.

People can and do live without arms and legs and many lead very successful lives.

Shit, here comes Mike O’Rielly proposing rules that allow ISPs to charge actual arms and legs for service.

“It is important to note that Internet access is not a necessity in the day-to-day lives of Americans.” -Michael O’Rielly

This is such bullshit.

Why is this even a debate in today's age? Plenty of people rely soley on the internet for their entire livelihood. Not to mention that restricting someone's access to Information is fucking wrong and in my opinion the same as burning books that you don't agree with.

This is a pivotal moment in history. And they are making the wrong choice.
