Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp Wraps Production

Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp has completed principal photography, according to announcements made online by director Peyton Reed and star Evangeline Lilly.

Principal photography began in August at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia, with additional filming took place in taling place in Atlanta, San Francisco, and Savannah, Georgia.

The sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man picks up up Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang following the events of Captain America: Civil War, as Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) present him with a new mission. Hope follows in her mother’s footsteps to become the new Wasp.

Debuting in theaters on July 6, 2018, Ant-Man and the Wasp­ is a production of Marvel Studios directed by Peyton Reed and starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen, Randall Park and Walton Goggins.
