Yeah that's like a giant submarine floating around. Pretty epic tree. You never forget when you see redwoods or sequioias for the first time. Just absolutely massive compared to all the other trees, especially the sequoias. It's like they're from another world.
Years ago I took a vacation to Washington state and all along the beaches were highway sized signs with large block letters proclaiming "BEACH LOGS KILL!" with a picture of a scared family running away from a log in a wave.
It stopped being funny when I eventually came upon one of these giant pieces of driftwood.
