Story time: I took my kid to the hospital. I tell them at intake that he's autistic (because he has a hard time with meds, injections, etc). They wrote down asthmatic.
Every time a nurse sees us, they ask about his asthma. I tell them he's autistic, NOT asthmatic. They say they didn't know and they'll correct it.
He was there a few days. Discharge papers say "keep taking your asthma medications prescribed by your doctor". Conclusions confirmed: They were all fucking morons.
ETA: It gets better though. He was diagnosed autistic by a neurologist AT THAT HOSPITAL.
