What goals do you have for the future?

"Go to Mars."

What do you want to be when you grow up?

"Be an astronaut."

What's the one thing you want to do in your life?

"Go to Mars."

Why did you want to meet Buzz Aldrin?

"I want to be an astronaut."

Buzz has a reputation for being kind of grumpy, but he's great with kids. When mine met him, my 7 year old casually said, "Hi Buzz!", and when somebody mentioned that he went to the moon, my 4 year old said with a sigh, "I know!" Both gave Buzz a chuckle. Despite signing books for hours, he took time to chat with the kids, shake their hands, and take a picture.

I hope the person that will walk on Mars is already in his/her 20s.

Neil Armstrong was 38 (Buzz was 39) when he stepped on the moon, I don't want to wait 32 years for this fellow to reach the right age.
